Agent Edits a Pending ACH Debit Payment

Role:

      Agent

Objective(s):

To edit a “Pending” payment.

Before you begin:

      The Agent has made a payment.

      The payment is in a “Pending” status.

      The Agent has a need edit the details of the payment.

What happens next:

      The payment details are edited.

1. 

Click the Payments left navigation menu item from the Agent Portal Home screen.

SUITS displays the Agent Payment Function Maintenance screen.

 

2. 

Click the Make Payments hyperlink.

SUITS displays the Agent Payment Wizard – Amount Due Summary screen.

      This screen displays the Employers the agent has the authority to make payments for. 

      Review the grid with the Employer Account ID, Employer Name, and Amount Due.

      Click on the Employer Account ID link to view the debt details for a client.

3. 

Select the radio button next to the payment you’d like to edit.

 

 

4. 

Click the Edit Payment button.

SUITS displays the Payments Wizard screen – Step 2: Payment Account Summary.

 

5. 

Enter the new Amount to Apply in the Manual Payment Allocation panel.

 

      The Amount to Apply will default to the previous amount. The user can change this amount if needed to make a partial payment.

      This field is required.

      The Payment Method cannot be edited.

6. 

Continue with the Payments Wizard.

 

      The next steps and screens in the Payments Wizard depend upon the Payment Method the user chooses.
