Management reports encompass how the tax system and the division are performing and do not belong to any specific business unit or function.
There are two types of management reports – on demand and scheduled. On demand reports can be generated at any time, have search parameters to refine the data search, and allow the system to pull the data in a few seconds. Scheduled reports are run at set times (i.e., daily, monthly, etc.) and can be viewed at any time. They are more complex reports that cannot be run at any time due to specific performance constraints. Scheduled reports are also stored in the system for future use.
In addition, there are Dashboards related to Management Reports. The dashboards give staff an overview of what is happening in the various units under the tax division. There are charts for visual understanding of the data and screens that allow for further expansion of the results.
