The Field Audit process starts when the UI Agency receives information from a source indicating a reason to investigate. Most aspects of field audits are completed through COMPAS, but information is shared between the SUITS system and COMPAS in order to complete the investigation and/or audit to ensure that the most accurate information is known to both systems.
