Objective(s):

To map a system record to an actual physical folder location in the application files.

Before you begin:

There is a new folder in the application files which will be used in one or more system processes (such as a folder to store a file during a processing stage).

What happens next:

The system can refer to the application folder which maps to the system path record.

Notes

1. 

Select the Administrative Services main menu item.

This brings you to the Administrative Services Maintenance screen.

 

2. 

Select the System Path icon.

The system displays the System Paths Lookup screen.

 

3. 

Click the ‘New’ button.

The system displays the System Path Maintenance screen.

 

4. 

Enter the Path Code.

 

 

5. 

Enter the Relative Path.

 

The system validates this against the actual application folders.

6. 

Enter the Path Description.

 

 

7. 

Click the ‘Save’ button.

      The system displays the save message.

      The system displays the Path ID.

 

8. 

Click the ‘Refresh’ button.

The system refreshes the servers to reflect the changes.
