Purpose: The Create New Lien Wizard screen is the screen housing the wizard where internal users can create a lien on an employer’s account in SUITS. In the event the assessment has been created by SUITS, the lien wizard will have most information filled out for the user regarding the employer and the lien. The wizard contains the following steps:
1. New Lien Details
2. Lien County
3. Lien Debt
4. Lien Verification
5. Lien Confirmation
The following information is needed in order for a staff member to create a new lien on an employer account in SUITS:
•Lien county
•Lien debt
•Employer information
The wizard is viewable by certain users with the correct role in the SUITS internal Staff Portal. DEW staff will need to go through the wizard and verify and/or modify any information presented.
DEW staff will also access the New Lien Wizard during the process of updating a lien with a court response or dismissing a lien.
