Edit Deposit Payment Details

Role:

      Internal user

Objective(s):

To edit the details of a “Pending” batch payment deposit.

      A batch payment can only be updated when it is in a “Pending” status.

      Batch payments are processed nightly; therefore, the payment will only be in a “Pending” status until the nightly batch is run.

Before you begin:

      An Employer has made a payment via cash, paper check, cashier’s check, or money order.

      An internal User has created and submitted a batch payment deposit.

      The batch payment is in a “Pending” status.

      The internal user has a need to update the “Pending” batch payment deposit.

What happens next:

      The “Pending” batch payment deposit is updated.

      The batch payment will process during the nightly batch process.

      The payment will be applied to the Employer’s account on the next business day, following the nightly batch process.

1. 

Click the Employer Services left menu item from the Staff Portal Home screen.

SUITS displays the Employer Service Maintenance screen.

 

2. 

Click the Payment Batch Deposit hyperlink.

SUITS displays the Manage Payments Functions Maintenance screen.

 

3. 

Click the Employer Payment Batch Header hyperlink.

SUITS displays the Employer Payment Batch Header Lookup screen.

 

4. 

Enter Search Criteria.

 

The user can search by one or more search criteria.

5. 

Click the Search button.

SUITS displays the results in the Search Results panel.

 

6. 

Select the checkbox corresponding to the record you wish to view.

 

The user can also click the Payment Batch Header hyperlink of the record they wish to view to open the record.

7. 

Click the Open button.

SUITS displays the Employer Payment Batch Header screen.

 

8. 

Update the record.

 

      This screen displays the “Pending” or “Incomplete” record.

      The screen displays the Deposit Details panel and the Deposit Payment Details panel.

      The Deposit Payment Details panel only displays the payments that were submitted via the Deposit.

      You can only edit payments that are in an “Incomplete” or “Pending” status.

      View the Status field in the Deposit Details panel.

9. 

Click the Submit button.

 

SUITS returns to the Staff Portal home screen.
