Employer Bankruptcy Filing Wizard

Purpose: The Employer Bankruptcy Filing Wizard screen is the screen housing the wizard where certain SUITS users’ access to go through the process of recording an employer filing for bankruptcy. During this process they fill out the bankruptcy details provided to DEW, as well as enter in the information for SUITS to calculate pre and post-petition debt. The wizard contains the following steps:

1.    Bankruptcy Case Details

2.    Bankruptcy Case Address

3.    Bankruptcy Case Filing Period Debt

4.    Bankruptcy Case Verification

5.    Bankruptcy Case Confirmation

The following information is needed in order for a user to record an employer’s bankruptcy filing:

    Information about the bankruptcy

    Address information

    Filing period debt information

    Proof of Claim documentation

This wizard can be viewed by users who possess the applicable role in the SUITS internal Staff Portal.
