Before you begin: |
• The workflow item must have a reason to be manually initiated. • The user must know the details of the workflow item that needs to be manually initiated, including the employer and the name of the workflow process. • The user must have the associated role to manually initiate work. |
What happens next: |
The workflow item will appear in the Work Pool to be checked out by a user with the appropriate role. |

Navigate to the Staff Portal Home screen. |

The assumption is that internal users will access a URL link to get to the Staff Portal. |

Click on the BPM Administrator main menu item on the left side panel. |

Click the Case Initiation hyperlink. |
SUITS displays the Online Initiation screen. |

Choose a Process Name from the dropdown menu. |

Enter an Employer ID in the field. |

If the Employer ID is not known, it can be searched for using the magnifying class feature. |

Enter any other information that is known or necessary. |

Only the process name and the employer ID are required in order to manually initiate a process. |

Click the Initiate Process button. |
SUITS initiates the process. |

The manually initiated process appears in the Work Pool as an unassigned work item. |
