Purpose: The Rate Class Calculation Lookup screen is where Internal Users can look up tax rates using the Report Year, Created By, Created Date From, Created Date To, and Rate Status as search criteria. This is also where one designated Internal User comes to create the tax rates for the year and move the tax rate creation through the approval process. When viewing search results, each year can have multiple results with the various Rate Statuses except for the ‘Final’ status. The results with the Rate Status of ‘Final’ is the currently approved record for that tax year. This ‘Final’ record is what an Internal User would use to view the current tax rates for each of the 20 tax classes. This screen can be accessed in the SUITS internal Staff Portal.
