This includes the final wage report quarter. • If the acquisition is approved and the acquired business has delinquent reports or payments due, the rating calculations will not include any experience transfer taxable wages and benefit charges that are calculated by SUITS unless the acquired business is class 13 or higher. • If the delinquent reports and/or the debt payments are paid in full within XX number of days (currently 60 days), rates will be recalculated to include any experience transfer taxable wages and benefit charges that are calculated by SUITS. • If the acquisition is approved and the acquired business HAS delinquent reports or payments due, the account will be made liable to allow for reports to be submitted and the rating calculations will not include any experience transfer taxable wages and benefit charges that are calculated by SUITS unless the acquired business is class 13 or higher. • For Substantially All transfers: If the acquisition is approved and the acquired business HAS delinquent reports or payments due, the account will be made liable to allow for reports to be submitted. If the acquisition is approved and the acquired business HAS NO delinquent reports or no payments due, the account will be made liable to allow for reports to be submitted and no rating calculations are needed as the acquiring business is a reimbursable employer. • For an acquired (purchased) contributory business and an acquiring (buying) reimbursable business: If the acquisition is approved and the acquired business has no delinquent reports or no payments due, the account will be made liable to allow for reports to be submitted and no rating calculations are needed as the acquiring business is a reimbursable employer. • See FAQs for details about what happens in SUITS background when an experience transfer is approved, and why an experience transfer could not complete or be denied.
