If the acquired business has a rate class of 12 or below for the acquisition year, and there are no delinquent reports or payments at the time of processing of acquisition, the experience transfer will occur immediately upon approval. This includes the final wage report quarter.

If the acquisition is approved and the acquired business has delinquent reports or payments due, the rating calculations will not include any experience transfer taxable wages and benefit charges that are calculated by SUITS unless the acquired business is class 13 or higher.

If the delinquent reports and/or the debt payments are paid in full within XX number of days (currently 60 days), rates will be recalculated to include any experience transfer taxable wages and benefit charges that are calculated by SUITS.

If the acquisition is approved and the acquired business HAS delinquent reports or payments due, the account will be made liable to allow for reports to be submitted and the rating calculations will not include any experience transfer taxable wages and benefit charges that are calculated by SUITS unless the acquired business is class 13 or higher.

See FAQs for details about what happens in SUITS background when an experience transfer is approved, and why an experience transfer could not complete or be denied.
