Once a protest that has been filed has gone through the review process and a determination has been made, another DEW staff member must review the determination, approve or deny it. |

An initial protest has been filed by an employer and a review/determination has been made on that protest be DEW staff |
What happens next: |
The determination is either approved or denied, and correspondence is sent to the required parties. |

From the SUITS Home screen, launch the ‘Review Protest Determination’ work item. |
This opens the Review Protest Determination Maintenance screen. |

Review the information on the screen, as well as the attached correspondence. Then enter a Note and click the ‘Approve’ or ‘Deny’ button. |
• Approve: Click the Approve button to trigger suits to save the entered notes, send the correspondence to the employer and close out the workflow. • Deny: Click the Deny button to trigger suits to save the entered notes, close the workflow and generate a ‘Review Employer Protest’ workflow for this protest. Essentially it is sending this protest back to staff to review again. |
