In the event a lien needs to be created outside SUITS process, complete the following steps:
• Go to Manage Collection Functions
• Select Lien
• Click New
• Enter Employer ID and select to Create Lien
• Select the checkbox to Generate Assessment
• Enter Notes
• Click Next
• Select which County employer is located in
• Click next
• Select each Quarter/Year to be included in lien
• Click next twice more
This will create the Lien ID and trigger SUITS to create a Notice of Assessment to be sent to employer at next batch run
