What is the Payment Hierarchy?

 

SUITS will apply the payment to the quarters designated by file if payment source = Intercept (TOP& DOR). If the employer has an active payment plan, SUITS will pay current quarter debt first. If TOP payment and/or payment plan have been paid or are not-applicable apply to the oldest quarters in order: Per the payment hierarchy (in one quarter if employer owes debt in all debt-types, apply in the order listed below):

1.    0% Reimbursable Charges - REPR

2.    2% Reimbursable Payment - REPY

3.    Trust Fund Replenishment Charge - TFRC

4.    UI Contributions (UI Tax) - UITX

5.    Interest Surcharge - INSC

6.    Departmental Administrative Contingency Assessment - ADAS

7.    UI Contributions Interest - INRT

8.    Reimbursable Principal Interest - INRP

9.    Late Wage Report Penalty - LPLP

10.  Late Payment Penalty - LTPP

11.  Contingency Non-Payment Penalty - CNTP

12.  Dishonored Payment Fee - DCKP

13.  Lien Recording Fee - LNCS

14.  Refund in Error - RFND

15.  Noncompliance Electronic Filing Penalty - NEFP

16.  Fraud Penalty - FRDP

17.  SUTA Dumping Penalty - SUTA

18.  Court Ordered Restitution Costs - CTCS

19.  Other Penalty – MSCP
