Objective(s): |
Once an employer has filed a protest, they have the ability to withdraw the protest up to a certain point. The protest must still be in a status of ‘Pending’ for the withdraw functionally to be available to employers. Below we will see the steps of how the protest is withdrawn via the employer portal. |

Employer has filed an initial protest that has not been fulling processed be SC DEW. |
What happens next: |
The protest is withdrawn. |

From the Employer Home screen, select the Documents main menu item. |
This brings you to the document tracking maintenance screen. |

Enter the search criteria and click the ‘Search’ button. |
This triggers the portal to retrieve all documents meeting the search criteria. |

In the Search Results, click the hyperlink titled ‘Withdraw Protest’ next to the document that a protest was submitted against, but now needs to be withdrawn. |
Clicking this hyperlink with withdraw the protest and refresh the screen. |

4. |
The screen refreshes with the status next to the document indicating it has been withdrawn. |
