Change Reporting Method

Background Information:

Process Name:

Change Reporting Method

Role:

      Non-profit or governmental, Reimbursable Employers

Objective(s):

The objective of this process is for a Reimbursable Employer to change its reporting type from Reimbursable to Contributory.

Before you begin:

A Reimbursable Employer wants to change its reporting method to Contributory.

Note - The Reimbursable Employer is within 30 days of its registration or 2 years from its initial reporting method selection (i.e. Employers have 30 days following registration to change reporting method. After those thirty days, an Employer must hold a reporting method selection for 2 years before being eligible to select a new reporting method).

What happens next:

      SUITS updates the Employer’s reporting method from Reimbursable to Contributory (or vice versa).

      SUITS sends a notification to the Employer’s Self-Service inbox: Change Reporting Method.

      SUITS updates the Employer’s UI tax rate calculation.
