Create Suits Portal User Record

Objective(s):

To grant access to a portal to a new user.

Before you begin:

A request is made to create a new user record for one of the portals (Agent or Employer).

What happens next:

The new user receives an email to complete the setup process.  Once setup is complete, the user record is created in SUITS.

1.   

Select the Administrative Services main menu item.

This displays the Administrative Services Maintenance screen.

 

2.   

Click Manage Users and Privileges icon.

This will bring you to the User Lookup screen.

 

3.   

Click the ‘New’ button.

This displays the User Maintenance screen.

To update an already existing user, enter search criteria on the User Lookup screen and click the Search button. From within the Search Results Panel, select the checkbox next to the desired user record and click the Open button. The User record will open.

Enter the required information on this screen and click the ‘Save’ button.

Clicking this will have SUITS generate and send an email to the email address you have entered. It will also update many of these fields to read-only status, and will then allow you to assign security roles to this user

In the event a user cannot remember their password and/or have not been able to complete the ‘forgot password’ option, a user’s credentials can be reset by clicking the Reset Credentials button on this screen. It will trigger SUITS to generate an email to the email on record for that user to create new credentials to log in.

5.   

In the Details panel, add Roles as needed and click the ‘Save’ button, then click the ‘Security’ tab

 

 

6.   

In the Security tab, review the Security levels and in the event it is updated, click the ‘Save’ button.

Upon clicking the Save button, any updates made to security will save and be updated on the user’s record and be reflected upon their next login.

 

7.   

Click the ‘Refresh’ button.

The system refreshes the servers to reflect the changes.
