Liability Update Maintenance

 

Purpose: The Liability Update Maintenance screen allows a user to update the liability information on an employer. From here, a user can update the following items:

•     Liability Date.

•     Business Formation/Incorporation Date.

•     Business Formation/Incorporation State.

•     Business Entity Type.

•     Employer Type.

•     Number of Employees.

•     Indication of: “Is the business waiting for or currently holding a 501c(3) exemption letter?”

•     FEIN.

•     Liability Status.

•     Liability Status Reason.

•     Indication of: Is Employer a PEO or Employer leasing company?

•     Indication of: FUTA in another State.

•     Indication of: Corporate Officer/Business Owner Election Requested.

This screen can be accessed from the SUITS internal Staff Portal.
