To see the progress/status of a batch at any point after it’s been queued. |
Before you begin: |
There is a need to know the details of an instance of the batch running. Commonly, this is because the batch failed and DEW wants to know why. |
What happens next: |
The user has viewed the status of the job, the status of each job step, and the messages from the system throughout processing the job. |

Select the Administrative Services main menu item. |
This brings you to the Administrative Services Maintenance screen. |

Select the Job Schedule Instance icon. |
The system displays the Job Header Lookup screen. |

Enter the Criteria. |

Click the ‘Search’ button. |
The system displays the matching results. |

Open the job schedule instance. |
The system displays the Job Schedule Instance Maintenance screen. |

Review the instance. |

Look at the following: • Job Schedule Instance Status • Processing start and end time. • Whether it’s a cancellable job. • Step status. Process logs. |

Record the first and last Process Log ID for searching the process log. |

Open the step(s). |
The system displays the Job Schedule Instance Detail screen. |

Review the step(s). |

Look at the following: • Step Name and Status. • Start Time and End Time. • Parameters. |
