To get a recertification of tax paid for a calendar year.

Before you begin:

      The Employer needs to get their certification of UI tax paid due to an IRS audit or federal tax filing.

1. 

Click the IRS 940 Certification main menu item from the Employer Portal Home screen.

SUITS displays the Employer IRS Certification Maintenance screen.

 

2. 

Click the Request for IRS 940 Certification hyperlink.

SUITS displays the Employer IRS Certification Wizard.

 

3. 

Select a Year from the dropdown menu.

 

 

4. 

Click the Search button.

 

 

5. 

Click the Next button.

SUITS displays the Recertification of Contributions Paid screen.

The Correspondence screen has the following panels:

      IRS 940-C Certification Search Results

      Quarterly Breakdown

      Additional Addresses

6. 

In the Additional Addresses panel, enter Attention.

 

      This field is not required.

      ONLY complete steps 4-10 if you want the certification letter mailed to an address additional to the Employer mailing address on file.
