The objective of this process is to review a request to convert an investigation to an audit.

Before you begin:

There is a need to resolve a request to convert an investigation to an audit

What happens next:

The investigation is changed to an audit.

1. 

Click Investigation hyperlink.

The system displays Investigation Lookup screen.

 

2. 

Select ‘Request Convert to Audit’ Status, enter other criteria and click the Search button.

The system displays results that match search criteria.

 

3. 

Click the Investigation ID hyperlink for the Request Convert to Audit record.

The system displays label and allows the user to enter the corresponding data.

 

4. 

Click the Acceptance Sample Reports hyperlink.

Clicking this hyperlink will open the TPS Acceptance Sample Reports screen.

 

5. 

Click the Convert to Audit or Deny Convert to Audit button as appropriate.

The system updates the status of the investigation to “Converted to Audit’ or “Denied Covert to Audit’ depending on Internal User’s previous selection.

Review the information on this screen, including any supporting documentation. Then choose to either convert to audit or deny the request to convert to audit. Whether the request is denied or converted to audit, the workflow has ended. If the request is converted to audit, an audit must be manually generated within COMPAS by the lead auditor.
