Review Legal Name Change

      Internal User

Objective(s):

To review the legal name change request submitted via the employer self-service portal

Before you begin:

      The Employer has submitted a legal name change request using the Employer Self-Service portal.

      SUITS has sent the UI agency a work item to “Review the Legal Name Change”.

What happens next:

      The UI agency approves the legal name change.

      The new legal name change is reflected in SUITS.

 

How to do it:

Notes

1. 

Click the Work Item Number hyperlink.

SUITS displays the Review Legal Name Maintenance screen.

 

2. 

Review the Employer Information and Employer Details panels.

 

 

3. 

Click the Available button in the Articles of Amendment field.

SUITS downloads the document.

 

4. 

Open or Save the document and review it

 

 

5. 

Enter Notes.

 

 

6. 

Click the Approve button.

SUITS displays the Staff Portal Home screen.

Click Deny if you do not approve of the name change.

      SUITS sends a “Change Legal Name” Request message to the Employer’s Self-Service portal that the change legal name request is denied.

7. 

 

SUITS sends a Change Legal Name Request message to the Employer’s Self-Service portal confirming the change legal name request is approved.
