Respond to the request for information

Before you begin:

      The Employer has submitted a request for information using the Employer Self-Service portal.

      SUITS has sent the UI agency a work item to Review the Request for Information.

What happens next:

      The UI agency has responded to the Employers request for information.

      SUITS sends two messages to the Employer’s Self-Service portal message inbox:

“Request Employer Account Information” – This message confirms the UI agency has received and reviewed the request for information.

“Response to Employer” – This message is the response to the request.

1. 

Click the Work Item Number hyperlink.

SUITS displays the Review Request Employer Account Information screen.

 

2. 

Review the information in each panel.

 

 

3. 

If displayed, click the Available button in the Supporting Document field.

SUITS downloads the document.

The Available button is displayed when the Employer uploads supporting documentation to its request.

4. 

Open or Save the document for you to review.

 

 

5. 

Enter a Response to the Employer.

 

 

6. 

Enter Notes.

 

Notes are required.

7. 

Click the Select Files button In the Upload Supporting Documents field (optional).

SUITS displays your computer’s documents file.

The User can use this functionality to send supporting documentation/forms to the Employer.

8. 

Select the file.

SUITS uploads the document to your information request.

You will know the file is uploaded to the request because the file name will be displayed under the Select Files button.

9. 

Click the Submit button.

      SUITS displays the Staff Portal Home screen.

      SUITSs sends two messages to the Employer’s Self-Service portal message inbox:

o “Request Employer Account Information”.

o “Response to Employer”.

      SUITS displays the response as a new record on the Request Employer Account Information Maintenance screen.

      “Request Employer Account Information” – This message communicates to the Employer that the UI agency has received and reviewed the request for information.

      “Response to Employer” – This message is the actual response to the request.
