Objective(s):

To ensure the Message record accurately reflects how the system should behave when the conditions of its attached error(s) are met.

Before you begin:

A system message is displaying inaccurately

What happens next:

The Message record accurately configures the system’s behavior whenever the attached error(s) occur(s).

 

How to do it:

Notes

1. 

Select the Administrative Services main menu item.

This brings you to the Administrative Services Maintenance screen.

 

2. 

Select the Messages icon.

The system displays the Message Lookup screen.

 

3. 

Enter search criteria and click Search

The system displays the search results.

 

4. 

Open the desired Message record.

5. 

Update the message and/or Severity.

 

 

6. 

Click the ‘Save’ button.

The system displays the save message.

 

7. 

Click the ‘Refresh’ button.

The system refreshes the servers to reflect the changes.
